Welcome to EDLF 8382: Introduction to Ed. Inquiry

In the course, we focus on problems of practice (PoP) through systematic inquiry, including processes, questions, and strategies used to conduct meaningful research in educational systems including PK-12 public schools, higher education, and global/international settings and other educational organizations. We explore the intersection of theory and practice with emphasis on the design of thoughtful, ethical inquiry about educational problems of practice. There is also an emphasis on sound academic writing principles for addressing problems of practice and guidance in developing those skills is provided in a separate (required) 1-credit Academic Writing course (EDLF 5301).
